Mortis was een partyganger op menig hardcorefeest voordat hij begon te draaien in 1996. Algauw voegde hij zich bij een groepje dj-vrienden om een organisatie (EHB) te vormen en begon op feesten te draaien die door die organisatie werd georganiseerd. Op die feesten is hij nu een vaste resident-dj. Later werd hij ook resident-dj bij BKJN waar hij ook op alle feesten draait. In de afgelopen jaren heeft hij op menig feest voor verschillende partyorganisaties op verschillende locaties zoals “De Hemkade”, “Amigo’s”, “Happy dayz”, “Loose end” en “De Tunnel” etc., door heel Nederland gedraaid meestal samen met zijn neef dj Mobius waarmee hij een dj-team vormt.
Mortis draait samen met Mobius een mix van hardcore, darkcore, terror en industrial en solodraaiend draait Mortis naast de eerder genoemde stijlen ook Early Rave, de hardcore waar hij mee opgroeide in de jaren ’90.
Mortis was a frequent visitor of hardcoreparties before he started playing records in 1996.
Soon he joined forces with a group of dj-friends and formed a partyorganistion called EHB. On parties organised by his group he became a resident-dj. Later he allso became a
resident-dj for BKJN (BeterKomJeNiet). In the years that followed he played on many parties for different partyorganisations in many clubs like “the Hemkade”, “Amigo’s”, “Happy dayz”, “Loose end” and “de Tunnel” etc. all over Holland mostly together with his nephew dj Mobius with which Mortis formes a dj-team. Together with Mobius, Mortis plays a varying mix of mainstream hardcore, darkcore, industrial and terror. Besides performing together with Mobius, Mortis allso performs solo on parties spinning records of mainstream hardcore, darkcore, industrial, terror and early rave, the hardcore which Mortis grew up with in the 90’s.
