Techno terug in Ahoy // Line-Up bekend // 3 area s
Techno domineert de Ahoy op zaterdag 30 oktober want van 22.00 uur ‘s avonds tot 7.00 uur is Ahoy met het event Concept de grootste techno tempel ter wereld.
Concept zal bestaan uit 2 grote areas en een silent techno area. In Area 1 zal vooral minimal, tech-house en techno te horen zijn. Zowel nationaal als internationaal is deze area goed vertegenwoordigd. Namen zoals Secret Cinema, Remy vs Warren Fellow, Alex Under, PanPot, Mauro Picotto & Cari Lekebusch vs Alan Fitzpatrick zullen het jullie tot verschillende hoogtepunten brengen.
In Area 2 gaan we terug naar het begin… Off-beat, rauwe techno & oldschool- tribal techno zullen hier de boventoon voeren. De muziek in deze area zal beginnen met rauwe, echte techno van helden zoals A.Paul, Bas Mooy vs Radial, James Ruskin vs Regis en Luke Slater. Zij zullen het oude met het nieuwe mixen, dus verwacht daar flink wat oude klappers door de speakers!
Halverwege de nacht gaan we de muziekstijl overgooien naar oldschool & tribal techno. Deze stroming is bij velen bekend als de techno waar het allemaal mee begon. Door de vele afsplitsingen in de techno-scene is deze sound een beetje in de vergetelheid geraakt en dat vinden wij echt niet kunnen! Het is gewoon weer eens tijd om lekker te trommelen en te treinen. Daarom hebben we Marco Bailey, Dylan Drazen & Mike Drama vs DJ Bold (die een unieke Back 2 Back set gaan neerzetten) gevraagd hun oldschool & tribal vinyl eens flink op te poetsen. Mark these words: Dit word DE techno-style van de toekomst!
Om het geheel goed af te maken is er een “silent techno” area toegevoegd. Hier kun je met een koptelefoon luisteren naar de mix kunsten van Nederlandse techno helden zoals Peter Horrevorts, Egbert, Hertz & Vibes, Update en Boris Ross, aangevuld door de internationaal zeer bekende Ramon Tapia. Een niet te missen area, waar je gewoon geweest MOET zijn…

On Saturday the 11th of September the festivl season will be closed with the seventh edition of Q-BASE held at the border of Germany and The Netherlands. In a previous message we announced the hosting partners of this years edition. It is now time to reveal which artists will be present at Airport Weeze. You can check it out at the Q-BASE website. Drop Your Own Area
Q-dance is always looking for new talent. At most parties the focus is on the artists while at this years edition of Q-BASE it will be different. Under the name 'Drop Your Own Area' there will be one Ammo bunker available for a smaller label, DJ collective or creative brains to host the area by taking care of the decorations as well as the music. If you want to host your own AMMO bunker at Q-BASE send us your plans, sketches, moodboards, line-up or demo to q-base@q-dance.nl and be in the running for the 'Drop Your Own Area Contest'.
Entries must be submitted before July 30th and will be judged on creativity and originality. The winner will be given the chance to realize its plans at Q-BASE and may invite all friends and relations of course. Tickets

HQ
Deze vrijdag gaat [HQ] weer helemaal los in de Melkweg, Amsterdam. Met twee verschillende areas beloofd dit een editie te worden die je niet snel zult vergeten!
In The Max gaan we los met een knallende line-up van de Tidy Boys, Fausto, Hank en Danny D. Dit alles onder vocale begeleiding van MC Da Silva.
In de Oude Zaal gaan we de diepte in. Hier draaien zowel JP als Sterling Moss een extra lange set, onder visuele begeleiding van VJ Razor-M.
Wijziging line-up
Helaas gaat het optreden van Brett E Boy vanwege persoonlijke omstandigheden niet door. Hij zal worden vervangen door HQ regular Danny D.

Route info
De Melkweg ligt aan de Lijnbaansgracht 234 naast het bekende Leidseplein. Hier stoppen o.a.de trams 1, 2 en 5 (ongeveer 10 minuten vanaf Amsterdam CS) en trams 6, 7 en 10 (vanaf metrostation Weesperplein).

Robin Hildenbrant is the talented dj/producer Blanda from the Netherlands. Since the age of eleven he was addicted to play music on his broken technics and cassette player. At the age of 14 the first acid house got him and from then he went into a house rollercoaster and became a passionate lover of all kinds of house music.
In the early days Robin played hardcore, hardstyle, hardtrance, but when he turns 23 techno was the main music he listened to. At small parties he played this music and friends seem to like his sets very much because they invited him to play more often.
At the age 25 Robin started deeyaing more and more and he got himself a dj name which was made up by his family. Robin comes from an indonesian family but he is the only white cousin amongst all other relatives. In Indonesia a Dutch Man is called 'Blanda' and so a dj name was born!
From that day Blanda was asked to play at many parties like Lovin L'ectro, ADHD, Sunday Sessions, Bootleg and many more.....At the age of 29 he got a residency at the fanous Club Stalker playing at the Klub Kabaal parties. After that he played at the Patronaat Tilburg and festtivals like Dance Boulevard and Alcatrazz.
Blanda plays a variety of house, tech house, groove, minimal, techno, progressive which is depending on the venue and crowd he plays. His knowledge of good music and good producers is excellent just like his dj sets.
Since 2006 he became a producer and now he already has 3 tracks going around the world. In 2011 he would like to focus on a new production every month so you will hear a lot more from this man!
