We've had huge track support this year from a host of big name djs and midnight set at the pleasuredome for new years eve but the biggest achievement for us has been playing at nearly all the big events in u.k such as Isle life, Atomik weekender, hardcore weekender, Bionic, HTID, Kiddstock, Kiddfectious, Zion, Clinic etc etc.
What moments will you never forget?
Playing a set of entirerly of our tracks/productions at the Hardcore weekender in Southport, we spent weeks getting new tracks and edits ready for that one event and seeing the crowd going nuts is something we'll always look back on.
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Thats a tough one there have been quite alot of good breakthrough acts this year, i suppose if we had to choose one it would be Da Tweekaz Norways answer to Showtek. We feel their sound is very catchy and their tracks have been played by hard dance djs aswell as some of the big hardstyle acts. This has seen the boys come over to the U.K quite alot in the last six months of the year and they are definately ones to watch in 2010.
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
Our favourite artist this year has to be Headhunterz without doubt!! He Has made himself hardstyle's no.1 this year in our opinion simply from the amount of awesome tracks he has released. He was given the closing set at the mighty Defqon 1 festival and also made the anthem track as well which only a handful of artists have ever done and being so young we can only see a long and glorious career ahead of him.
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Our favourite label has to Scantraxx the amount of huge tracks that have been released on that label this year is unreal!!! They just never fail.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Yoz: I'd have to say Headhunterz Megasound just because it featured in nearly every set of 2009 and i cant get enough of that bad azz reverse bass!! Matt: ummmmm favourite track definately a very hard question this year has seen some awesome tracks released. I think mine has to Natural by Davide Sonar everytime we have played that track this year it puts a massive smile on everyones face and makes any crowd go nuts me included:)!!!
What's been your favourite event of the year?
Mat: For me it has be Qlimax a truely amazing dance event one of the best if thee event in world for me, 30 000 ravers all under on roof having it large!!! As for U.k event probably has to be Atomik weekender 2 a wicked party vibe that lasts for 3 days not just one night, sick!! Yoz: I'd say Zion the first event we did in Feb with Noisecontrollers was one of the best events i've played at... The buzz i got from warming the decks up for the Noisecontrollers was unreal, the crowd was awesome the sound, lighting and production just made it very special for me.
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
Funniest moment of the year has to be the Atomik Weekender 2 in November! We had a big shalet party on the Saturday daytime and special guest was none other than big brothers Halfwit hahahaha! Get on Facebook and check out the videos!!!
What do you have planned for the next year?
As for 2010 we are already working hard getting ready for it. We are really going to push our youtube channel next year with alot of great features coming on that, we want to rock as many crowds as possible, release even better tracks than last year, take our sound to foreign shores and push for our Qdance dream, and also start working on our album!!! Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open.... The Yofridiz 2010 were coming to rock you!!!!!
